• What sizes of the defendadoor are available? Models are currently ready for ordering in the 8 foot and 9 foot wide styles.

• Can the defendadoor be ordered without the alarm and strobe light? Yes, however we recommend these options because damage to the door is often done to the door without the driver's awareness.

• What is the weight of the beam and the complete mechanism? The 8' defendadoor will add approximately 70 lbs to the door.

• What adjustments to the door are required? Normally only a larger door spring is required, but this will be determined by the installer. If you would like, we can calculate the new spring size for you, just fill out the door information form the best you can and fax it to us, we'll take it from there. Need help, just call us.
  

• How much time is needed for complete installation? Approximately 2 to 4 hours depending on which model and whether there are added accessories.

• How do I order the defendadoor? The Stjern defendadoor is available to any overhead door service company or you can order them direct, just call us at 800-339-9139.
